Strictly Come DancingStrictly Come Dancing is a BBC One show airing in Britain which teams up professional dancers with celebrities in a dance contest running over a number of weeks. Offshoots of the show called 'Dancing With The Stars' are also popping up in other countries around the world. The results of the show each week are decided by the judges and public vote. The judges on the show are head judge Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli. Money made from the show in public votes has also been donated to Children In Need in recent series'. Each week the couples perform a different dance. The dances have included the cha-cha-cha, quickstep, jive, foxtrot, samba, tango, rumba, waltz and paso doble. Past winners of the show have included Natasha Kaplinsky & Brendan Cole (Series 1), Jill Halfpenny & Darren Bennett (Series 2), Darren Gough & Lilia Kopylova (Series 3), Mark Ramprakash & Karen Hardy (Series 4) and Alesha Dixon & Matthew Cutler (Series 5).
